Play.com :(

hi, just thought id have a moan.

I recently ordered a CD from play.com as a birthday present for a friend (Tools 'Aenima')

when the CD arrived today it looked like it been involved in a play.com staff member frisby contest. The case was unsealed, scuffed and scratched, luckily the cd was in perfect condition but i am disappointed in play.com for this. ive never had a bad product form play until now.
ive just emailed play.com as they usually have a fast email response time so ill just have to see what they say.

Right.....moan over

Thumbs up

I have to say that I have spent far too much with PLAY and never had a problem. Even ordered the same CD twice by mistake (damn my goldfish memory! ) and returning it was so easy.

Ian.

I tend to get nearly all my cd's from asda these days as most of them are under £8.99 now. unless you use vouchers the internet isn't really a saving anymore

Play.com have always provided me with great service. Around 18 months ago I had approx. 12 CDs/DVDs go "missing" at the local PO sorting office and Play re-sent every one free of charge

They have also accepted back any disc with Copy Control and re-funded me if the can't replace it with a proper CD.

I cannot recommend them highly enough

Yeah i have had nothing but great service from them also over a 3 year period or so. That spans thousands of pounds worth of stuff.

Play.com are superb. Can't fault them.

As for jewel case damage, I'll refer you to royal mail
