Athlete - Tourist

Hey all,

I heard Athletes new song 'wires' last night on virgin radio and thought it was very good. I was just wondering if anyone has the album and are the rest of the songs as good?

James

I've heard bits of it, and it sounded very drab. I can honestly say that Wires (although good) is one of the most up-tempo songs on the album

Metacritic (a load of review scores put together) give it a measly 41/100:

...and Uncut sum it up pretty well:

"Tourist begins earnestly... and continues through 11 torpid ballads, drained of all their earlier quirks, seemingly laboratory-designed for those who find Keane too edgy."

...but hey, they are just critics. They are paid to be critical, so make of it what you will.
