Question Reggae dub - Any good cds worth getting

Been listening to Kruder and Dorfmeister 'G stone book cd' (brilliant album) and one of the tracks had a reggae dub sound.
Just wondering if there are any good albums worth considering.
I love that bassy sound.

Trojan Records do 3 CD boxsets, ive been listening to the "Roots" version of this quite simply stunning, then gives you an idea of which artists you would like.

King Tubby
Lee Scratch Perry
SLy & Robbie

All good. But immerse yourself in the Trojan boxsets.

I'm quite partial to Mad Professor, Jah Wobble, Bill Laswell, and the Dub Allstars version of Dark Side of the Moon

All of the Trojan Box sets I've heard to date are superb.

Watch out for them in sales at HMV and Music Zone. You can pick them up for as little as £5.99 per box.

Current fave track "Bonanza Ska" by Carlos Malcolm. Like it says on the tin - a ska version of the "Bonanza" theme, complete with neighing horses!

Priceless...

A landmark dub album has to be Lee Perry's '14 Dub Blackboard Jungle' (title doesn't quite seem right but that's what it's called). Originally released in the early 70s, but given a re-release last year for the first time in its original form (plus 4 bonus tracks).

The album features some whacky stereo effects where the bass is concentrated in one speaker! Only in Jamaica.

It should be widely available but I know you can get it from DubVendor
