Help Needed on Orig Floyd 45's

I'm currently in the market for early Floyd releases; See Emily Play, Arnold Layne, Apples & Oranges, Flaming, Gnome..etc. My local record dealer has a copy of See Emily Play in store for £125. I'm confused by this copy as the P/S is the same as the U.K P/S (Picture of the B&W train) but the record is the Swiss release. I am informed that most of the releases (internationally) had the same P/S originally, it was only the disc that differed according to country; though I know this to be not entirely true as some P/S had the collumbia logo on them, some didn't and in some cases the record number on the steam bubble of the train differed. Now, I'm keen to purchase this copy for the P/S alone, but before I buy can anyone shed any light on what I should be looking for.

I've tried around the net but can't find a definitive resource.

Many thanks.

Digi

Record Collector done a great article on the Floyd singles last year. Get the current issue and find the index for what issue to buy.

I seem to remember that there were loads of variations on the same theme from country to country like different lettering, backgrounds, colouring, lable logos etc.

Sorry can't be more specific. Used to keep all the back issues but was nagged into getting rid of them.....
