Thanks: Gave 0, Got 1 | 'Blue Lines' (Massive Attack): Greatest ever album?
I'm really into this now. Totally perfect music for any mood. Soulful yet edgy with great production. It's the conoisseurs choice Anyone not like it/never heard it
Every track a mini masterpiece. As for 'Unfinished Sympathy', well, we're talking song of the 90s. |

It's certainly a seminal album of (soundtrack to?) the 90's!
Hard to believe that it was released as far back as 1991.

Great album, but its beginning to age a bit now IMO. Same as Spititualized - Ladies and Gents....... and Primal Screams- Screamadelica.
Not the greatest album of all time for me, I think thats probably split between Pet Sounds and Revolver (and yes, I know thats the critics choice, but, after spending years denying the fact, I've finally arrived at the same conclusion). I would put Nirvana - Nevermind in the same catagory, but will they be as well known as the Beatles or Beach Boys in another 20 years ? Id like to think so, but I wondered bet on it.

3/. Let It Bleed
4/. White Album
5/. Captain Fantastic
6/. DSOTM
7/. Abbey Road
8/. Moving Pictures
9/. OK Computer
10/. Exile On Main Street
ask me tomorrow though and it will be all change |

"Blue Lines" is definitely one of the major albums of the '90s. Long overdue for a good quality re-master methinks.
