It would be nice to have a list of music DVD must-haves wouldn't it ?
Mine so far
Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio
AC/DC - Stiff Upper Lip
Metallica - Cunning Stunts

I've searched the forums for a list but couldn't find one - obviously please delete this if there is one !!

A German R2 disc of "Get Back".

Paul McCartney on tour in 1990 with a set consisting of 95% Beatles classics, one after another. Anamorphic widescreen, 5.1 and loaded with extras as opposed to the (now deleted) R1 version in glorious 2 channel and 4:3.

Well filmed too. Originally a cinema movie directed by Dick Lester, as opposed to a conventional concert video.

About a tenner from Amazon.de.

"The Who at the Albert Hall" is a DTS powerhouse containing every Who song you could ever want. Smirk at Noel Gallagher looking decidedly uncomfortable as he realises he is totally out of his depth and outclassed by men twice his age as he guests on "Won't Get Fooled Again".

"Diana Krall - A Night In Paris" - smooth as silk with pic and sound to die for!

Will also second, "The Last Waltz" and "Stop Making Sense" - classics both.

I've got and enjoy
Standing In The Shadows Of Motown
on the list to get
Joni Mitchell: Shadows And Light (1979)
Earth, Wind & Fire: Live By Request - Collector's Edition
Cowboy Junkies: Open Road (w/CD)
I also want some of the Uriah Heep DVD's but I'm not sure which ones, too much choice, but it'll proably be 'The Magician's Birthday Party'

I don't have too many music DVD's at the moment but from what I do have, I'd say my top three are...:

-> Metallica - Cunning Stunts
-> Pearl Jam - Live at the Garden
-> Within Temptation - Mother Earth (incl. bonus CD)

These two titles are fantastic. The Cure's trilogy especially. Three albums sung back to back in a three and a half hour concert late last year. The picture and sound on both of these DVDs is excellent. Get them!

The Cure - Trilogy
REM - Perfect Square
