Sony and BMG to merge!!
More bad news for music buyers!! Even with the current "stitch up" in CD prices, less competition means no chance of the digital mediums coming down to realistic prices.

If memory serves, this means the number of CD/DVD/SACD producers will drop to two with EMI having the controlling share in WEA. Not good.
