Cool 'ARE YOU READY FOR LOVE’ by Elton John Question.

At weekend I was listening to Richard Allinson on Radio 2 and he played 'ARE YOU READY FOR LOVE’ by Elton John but gave no details out. But it seemed like the backing on it was my old mates The Detroit Spinners in fact the whole song sounded like something they would have recorded when they were at Atlantic.
Can anybody can conferm they where on the record?

Cool

Thom Bell was the producer of The Detriot Spinners at Atlantic so it must have been them.
