Gonna see Iron Maiden next Wed in Belfast - support group is Dragonforce I think the rest of the UK got Airbourne.

Any more reports on Maiden?? They are playing the same set list every night - I saw them in Belfast in 1993 (last time they were here) and they were crap - or at least the sound was - cos I couldnt make out what song they were playing most of the time Looking forward to hearing 2 Minutes to Midnight - my favourite of theirs as well as Hallowed Be Thy Name + Fear of the Dark

Saw them at both Sheffield & Manchester in the past week. Superb both times. They seem to get better with age and were really tight. Enjoy!!

Yeah, Dragonfarce were a bit grating the only time I saw them, like their albums a few minutes is enough. Shame, Airbourne were really cool. Seeing Trivium again would have been awesome (lucky Londoners). And yes, setlist was same both nights I saw (Glasgow, Aberdeen), assume it's the same for entire tour, so expect the usual 40 minutes of new stuff, and loads-but-never-enough classics.

Absolutely......this is gonna be the gig of the year!!
Got my tickets in the pre-sale this morning the same as you.
I see Def Leppard have got top billing, but i believe its actually a co-headlining tour.
By coincidence, my last 2 gigs at the SECC have been Def Leppard(with Whitesnake) then Motley Crue before that.
I cant be bothered with all the hustle n bustle of the standing area, so i always get a nice unobstructed view directly in front of the stage in Block J.
Will be a brilliant opportunity to give my 15x optical zoom a good workout.

If that was back in '89 with Skid Row supporting then so did i. Dr. Feelgood had been released 2 months earlier, but it was actually the Girls Girls Girls tour they brought to the UK in November. This tour had previously been scheduled for the start of the year, but was cancelled with the now legendary "snow on the roof" excuse.
Have seen The Crüe a total of 3 times so far - 89 in Edinburgh, 91 at Donington, and 2005 in Glasgow on the Carnival Of Sins tour, which has been the greatest visual spectacle of any gig i have been to so far.
