ZZ Top - Tres Hombres

This is early ZZ top before they went all pop. Before they all had beards and matching guitars).

If you like great blues /rock then this is for you. Excellent guitar work, superb lead. This really is a seminal work.

Along the lines of stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Black Crowes.

4.5/5 I was lucky enough to get a sealed vinyl copy

If you like this, you'll love El Loco. By far my favourite ZZ Top album!

Both excellent albums but it has to be 1979's Deguello for me.

Hey - that's my 100th post - ton up!

For a nice compromise, The ZZ Top compilation 'One Foot in the Blues' is a personal favourite - picks the best blues tracks from 4 or 5 of their albums...
