not sure if its your cuppa tea, but the ac/dc Stiff Upper Lip live DVD is cool. TheDTS soundtrack is great and the 16x9 video of the band live at the Olympic Stadium in munich is cool.

Sounds good M8, but i was thinking more of a visual show that complements the music rather than a band performing, maybe computer generated ?

How about the Daft Punk film? I've not heard or seen it myself but it's a bit of a cross, being a film produced to the background of the Discovery album.

You can still play it in a normal dvd player but you will only be able
to get the dolby digital 5.1 track.

It was the waveform frequencies thingymajig that made me provide the info. I have seen pictures of these and they do look
cool but I can't remember the link to where I saw them.

No worries M8, I will probably wait till others that have pre-ordered the Disc give there opinion. Dont no why new music isnt just realesed on the DVD Format as it is such a recognised medium. No we all have to go and buy SACD or DVD-A players or enabled DVD players, suppose its just a good way to get people to upgrade .

Ambra have 2 out at least Child of the universe and Honour and Glory see: Ambra child of the universe were from ?
Still think Amazon.de is the only place to get it but try Ambra in a few search engines, might have made it here DTS is fantastic mate! THe one we have is a CD and DVD package so still quite good value and useful, for us to compare Logic7 and DPL2 with 5.1DD and DTS

Just watched the Daft Punk video Interstella 5555, absolutley fantastic sound and visuals. Its an hour and 5 minutes of anime (in the ullyses / battle for the planets style) set to daft punk music all in glorious 5.1 whoop. Just crank it and enjoy, just dont try to pick at the "plot" too much

Also have to recommend the Orbital Altogether DVD the visuals are occasionally a little lacking, but the 5.1 mix is absolutley awesome, best use of 5.1 in music yet.

And finally, some non 5.1 videos. Just got the Work of Chris Cunningham dvd some great videos to go along with some great tunes, aphex twin windowlicker is a particular favourite of mine, along with squarepusher, leftfield and a beautiful bjork video (kissing lesbian robots wooo).
