Choice of SACD and DTS discs

Hello all,

I have noticed that the majority of SACD and DTS discs available are classical music. Is this because that classical music is best reproduced in these formats due to the variety of instruments used?

I have often thought that classical music would probably sound pretty good in a 5.1 setup, but since I am not really a classics fan I have never tried it out.

What does everyone else think?

James
