DTS Discs

Guys,

I was looking on play for a Diana Krall CD and found they have it in DTS?

How does this work?? I'm assuming you have DTS sound using your DVD & Amp but if I stick it in the car would it work in stereo??

How good are these discs?

Thanks
Stace

a dts cd will work in any cd player but you need a digital output connected to a dts amp. (They even work in dvd players that do not support dts!).

It would only work in the car if you had a dts decoder there.

Some of these are superb, some pretty rotten, when the engineers have remixed the multichannel sound poorly.

For a very good listing of what's available, try

Hello,

What's the difference between DTS and SACD music?

Cheers,

James
