Anyone else like Ozomatli?

I remember many years ago hearing them perform "Como Ves" on Jools Holland, and thinking they were amazing, I bought their self-titled album, which is incrediable.

They are an American salsa/jazz/hip-hop band with stripes of West African music as well.

Really boss, heartily recommended!

one of those bands I have seen on TV three or four times and always thought "that's fantastic, I must buy some of their stuff" but have so far failed to do so.

They always seem to make it onto the BBC2 Glastonbury coverage at about 2 in the morning.

I believe they're doing (or have recently done) a short tour of the UK, but not coming anywhere near me...

Thumbs up

Bought what I assume is their new album "Street Signs" today (£9.99 in MVC). Sounds good on the first listen although I'm only on track 6 at the moment. Excellent summer music.

Never seen them myself, but my mate has - he's got pretty good taste in music and I trust his judgement - he said that they were billed as 'the best live act ever', and after seeing them he says that that is no exaggeration - he was totally blown away by them.
