Bon jovi tickets for the o2 arena

Hi,

Has anyone of you Rockers managed to get tkts for the Bon Jovi concerts at the O2?

I'm managed to get one for myself. But it is a heck of a long time to wait just to see them!
I have always wanted to see them but always missed out due to not getting a tkt, but this time I was lucky.
I have never seen them live, so are they any good?

Yes, several, and HELL yeah!! From my own POV, you can't just stop at one. They put on an amazing show.

Hi,

Did u purchase your tkts through ticketmaster?

But don't you think it's a hell of long time to wait to see them perform in June 2010?
I would also like to see Bruce Springsteen, Eagles and Fleetwood Mac perform at the O2 in Greenwich in the near future. So fingers X.

Cheers

No, I got my tix through the fanclub. Luckily I'm only having to wait until April (once I get my hands on that ticket anyway!) but it's still a really long time to wait. Lol!! I really don't think you'll regret it one bit.

Re: BON JOVI TICKETS FOR THE O2

Yeah, I just can't understand why they can't send out tkts much sooner.
Tkts only went on sale to the general public last Fri. Ticketmaster's rule is that they will only send out the tkts 7-10 days before the show starts, which I think is far too long.

They should really send them out 4 wks after they actually went on sale. It's not right.

they do that for two reasons, one to stop people copying the tickets and printing fakes, and two to stop people selling them on ebay, as they are then selling something they don't actually have yet, so it doesn't give them much time to sell the tickets and mail them to the buyer

Re: BON JOVI TICKETS FOR THE O2

Hi,

Can you explain to me then why are there so many Bon Jovi tkts for sale on ebay when the seller doesn't even have them to hand yet?

Isn't that breaking the rules?

Bleeding money-grabbing rip-off merchant can stick his residency up his o2.

You'll get no thanks from me JBJ for giving me the option of a £75 ticket behind the stage, a £200 ticket on tiered side seating or a £1100 platinum ticket.

I'll keep the fantastic memories you left me with at Hampden last year but you won't get any of my money this tour.

i don't normally go on ebay, but i understand it's common practice for people to put tickets for sale that they don't actually have, and tell the buyer they will mail them when they get them. you can't tell if the seller has actually purchased tickets or not, you could be dealing with a scammer who has no intention of passing on tickets. i'm not sure how the whole ebay thing works regarding the time between buying and receiving goods, thus if you buy now there is probably a limitation for you to complain to ebay about not receiving goods, so if the tickets aren't sent for another six months, long after the 30 day "complaints" window, it doesn't give buyers much protection - that's if it works that way

certainly it means that no-one can sell tickets they legitimately hold until it's too close to the show

there is no law in the uk against selling concert tickets, thus promoters and agencies take these steps instead (or sell them directly at inflated prices on other websites - ticketmaster get the crap seats and specialised agencies sell the good seats at high prices)
