Before they were "famous" / memorabilia

First real gig I attended:

60's Selkirk Town Hall in the Scottish Borders.

Jeff Beck Group: Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood and drummer i can't recall.... they were rotten but memorable for obvious reasons!!!!

Possibly second gig I attended, also in the 60's, an up and coming group called "The Who" - whatever happened to them - at Galashiels.
The group did their usual "encore" of the time, in trashing all on stage gear. On the way out I picked up a battered drum "Moonie" had destroyed, I picked it up and was on the way out with it when my mates told me not to be so daft as it was in a useless state - and we were on our way "a-pullin" to another dance hall. I put it in the bin!!!!!!
I was told only a couple of years ago, in a radio phone-in, by a memorabilia guru that the drum today would have been worth a small fortune!!!!!!
