Got the album a few days ago....and I was thinking of posting a thread with a very similar title!!...I would add that there's a touch of Jeff Buckley in there as well !

So far, based on 2 listens its good!....although I don't like the constant use of the distorted / lo-fi vocals throughout.

Not bad. Guys voice is weird. He seems to alternate between Zack de la Rocha and Robert Plant. Takes a bit of getting used to.

The drummings a bit pedestrian.

Cheers for the heads up Signs, listened to the album a couple of times and I think it's pretty good. Definitely similar to Wolfmother and a touch of The Answer in there which isn't a bad thing.

Off topic - Did you see Wolfmother on Jools Holland? The new song is pretty good, I think they sound a lot more rounded as a four piece than before. Plus a new song from Seasick Steve which is always a good thing

So we'll hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

No missed it , saw them play last year in Brum , didn't the lead singer sack the other two ?

Seasick Steve is Touring next month i believe (i'm sure he's not as old as he makes out )
