A 45 single by a early british blues band called the Syndicats-Howlin for my baby/What to do brought for 20p at a jumble sale. Worth £80 but if you find a mint copy £200 plus. Three singles were released by this band, if you manage to find all three in mint condition then you are looking at £1,000 in value. Steve Howe played guitar and went on to form YES.
A single by a punk band Acme Attractions Anyway/Never again found in a box of records brought but the record was split and then a year later I found another copy at a jumble sale. Not bad considering 500 were made. Worth about £60-£100.
Album by the band Free self titled original presssing in near mint condition. cost £1 worth £70+. Album by folk band Swindle Folk called A Roving, private pressing in exellent nick, brought for £1. Worth £80.
The one that got away, if you see a album by the group Tea and Symphony call Jo Sago on the Harvest lable from 1970, I passed this by when I saw it in a charity shop for £1.99.
