PCM Audio DVD

Hello, I know this thread doesn't seem music based but please bear with me. I recently bought Madonna's Celebration, the 2 disc DVD version, although I didn't realise at the time! I actually wanted the 2 disc CD version. So before I take it back, I was wondering if anybody could tell me if the DVD version could be played as a music disc on a CD player (a Denon RCD-M37)?
I've Googled "PCM Audio" and realise this is what format music CD's are but I can't find out if the DVD will play on my CD player. I'd happily buy the double CD set and keep the DVD, but after reading reviews, it appears the quality of the DVD is lacking.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: PCM Audio DVD

The DVD will not play in anything which does not play DVDs. CDs and DVD may look similar but they are physically very different.

Re: PCM Audio DVD

Ok, many thanks.

Didn't know if the PCM Audio format of the DVD would be supported by my CD player.
