Flaming Lips DVD-A - How's The Sound Quality?

For whoever's managed to get hold of this release (is it even available yet?), how's the sound quality!?

Is it an advancement over the CD, which was very well produced and sounds fantastic in PLII Music Mode?

There are a few threads about the DVD-A over here (http://flaminglips.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x). The general consensus is it's superb with plenty of surround steering.

There are also a couple of threads regarding a recording error where the sound on the last track cuts out 20 seconds from the end. I would imagine this is why the UK release has been delayed (again).

Roll on January 12th!!!
