Not too sure how many people have heard of InMe, or know this is their 4th album.
Just thought I'd get a mention on here, it came out on Monday, but got it the Saturday previous. Extremely good album, if you like metal; although theres influences from alot of genres.
The release single 'Single Of The Weak' doesnt really sound like much of the album, but is generally an Ironic catchy song slagging off the music industry and the pop world.
Well, if you have a spare £6, and like metal, give it a listen

Really good album - i agree that "Single of the Weak" is completely different to the rest of the album. It's is a good song, but there are better ones on the album.
Cant wait to see them for the first time on the 23rd
Oh, and i've just recently discovered the acoustic solo stuff from the lead singer (search Dave Mcpherson on youtube). He really is a very talented musician.
I have seen them a couple of times...by accident
They supported Deftones a few years back and i thought they sucked balls.
I would not class them as Metal at all.
But that was years ago so might give them another chance.

Saw Inme last night in Nottingham - pretty small club with only about 200-250 there and a great atmosphere for a small gig.
I'll agree they are certainly not metal - a few years ago they got classed as nu-metal because of a couple of songs, but its hard to call them one genre as they have a wide style of songs.
I'm still not sure how they arent more popular than they are

Oh, and they have definately changed from then! That'd be in the Overgrown Eden years, when they were about 18-20 years old. Now late twenties they have grown up alot since that!

I'm still not bored of the album. I saw them in Southampton last month, was an absolutely wicked show.
Shame the new guitarist has parted ways already, bit of a shame as they really benefit the second guitars.
Back to the genre, yeah it is hard to define exactly what they are, if anything just 'Alternative' or 'Progressive'.

It is a shame about the 2nd guitarist leaving, but they were a 3 piece before and put on a quality show as 3 so i'm sure they'll continue to be great.
I managed to see Dave Mcpherson last Friday - playing an acoustic set in Lincoln. There was only about 40 people there, and he was was really down to earth - stopping to talk to everyone after the show.
He played some Inme stuff, including All Terrain Vehicle of Herald Moth (not my video - filmed by someone else at the show)
