Question Music Video Dvd?

A friend on msn messenger told me that, next year there will be cd albums and such, but on dvd, and will also include the music video of every track as well as a stereo feed of the song. Is this true?

A way to stop piracy?

The DVD Audio lobby have been pushing a hybrid DVD/CD, which is a standard CD on one side, and DVD Audio on the other.

A sticking point with this has been that apparently the disk won't fit in some car CD players owing to the slight extra thickness.

The last I heard on this was that the official body which ratifies standards such as these had rejected the format for the reason above.

However, it was muted by Warner that they might release the format anyhow.

cheers,

Timbo
