Where to sell 12" vinyl?

I've just started a clearout and I have a tonne of vinyl which I'm never going to play again - chiefly various styles of dance music from 1995 - 2000. Can anybody recommend a good website where I can shift this?

http://www.gemm.com is the best place to find records on the web. I guess that means it's the best place to sell them as well.

http://www.htfr.com/ may buy it from you for a pittance and flog it on to some unsuspecting punter.

Post (or mail me) a list of titles I may like some of 'em. Dunno if this board lets you do that kind of thing?

I'd say post them here and see if anyone takes up on them too. I could do with starting a vinyl collection so wouldn't mind a gander. Or, if geese don't work, seeing if I like any of them either.

Local, independant record shops will sometimes buy collections... don't expect more than about £1 per record though

Thanks for the replies - guess I'll get a list together tonight and post them up on the classifieds section here then.

Will post here when it's up (just gotta check a few sites to see what they're worth too!)

Unfortunately, Wilbur, you not likely to get much ; dance orientated stuff falls out of fashion very rapidly and doesn't hold its value very well. Very few collectors in this field.

Good luck anyway.

House is collectable mate, there is plenty who will buy, it does depend on what you have though. Your collection is from a more overground era, and were knocked out on a bigger scale, so the tunes are easier to find, but you might have a few deleted tunes or rare mixes. If its charty stuff, forget it http://www.pianoheaven.net/forum/for...5&pagenumber=1
powerzone- addicted to love £70/£100

aphex twin- pacman- yellow vinyl £80

k-groove ep £35/50

There are 1000's of rare tune out there. I have some myself

You just have to loooooooook for it
