Iron Maiden UK Gigs

Anybody been? Anybody going?

Saw them in Dublin on Monday night, and they were absolutely ****ing amazing!!

Even the girlfriend was well into it by the end of the night! And to top it off, she caught one of Nicko's drumsticks at the end!! That put a smile on her face!

i was at the gig on monday night and have to say i didnt really enjoy it. the sound was terrible, the union jack waving was a joke and their new material didnt really do it for me.
the 4 or 5 "old songs they did do stood out a mile, but to me they looked like a band well past their sell by date.

Saw them last night at Earl's Court and they were awesome.

It took a couple of songs for the sound to be sorted (but then Earl's Court has never been famed for it's sounds).

The new album is superb anyway and the strength of the songs came across well live. Highlight of the set had to be Paschendale and Hallowed be thy Name.

Wink HMM

saw them in cardiff last night and i have to say them blew my head off....its a quite small arena and i managed to get front and centre standing with got pretty intense, bruce stopped the gig to ask us to cool down and so a few people could get pulled out,i loved the whole set, worst part being the £50 price tag on the footie shirt!!!!

Well, Earls Court was excellent, but Cardiff !!, now thats the way to rock !! From the intro of Wildest Dreams, through to Run To The Hills the crowd were intense, especially during Hallowed Be Thy Name..my personal fave , however Paschendale really blew me away, from the intro sound effects right to the end, this was far better live than on the DoD album, much heavier

wasnt overly impressed with FFaF mind you..couldnt understand a line of what he was singing/screaming down the mic.

Talking yep

FFaF got on my nerves,al the songs sounded the same and the frontman had no on stage presence at all....only the bass player was any good, like i said ealier, maiden were absolutly outstanding and the front rows were really bouncing, cant wait to do it again someday!!!!!
