Bloody good debut album, i just got it. Got some mixed reviews, but i think they are great.

Imagine Elastica crossed with New York Indie and you're halfway there

Go and see them live, if only Karen O would stop falling off the stage, they might even do another tour. Good band and a mad fronts woman.

Very art house style rock, bought the EP and the album.

yeah bought the album about a week ago and like it alot.
lovely raw feel to it. sounds underproduced which is no bad thing.
cdwow had it going cheap a while back whici is why i ordered it, but i think its back to full price now.

Why?

There's such a huge difference between The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the 'D' band. The former is awesome and the latter is crap.

gotta agree with Games Guru, the YYYeahs are bloody great! Any one heard Hot Hot Heat, another band i just got into which are also pretty cool, very very good live too

I kidnapped Peterc's album. Not bad at all. The lead singer sounds a bit scary though.
