The new Coldplay cd/dvd.

£24.99 at Coldplay.com
£19.99 at HMV..or £17.99 for the standard version.
£9.99 at Play.com..standard version.

The special version is printed on recycled paper and has a few extra bits and pieces on the cdrom.

Anyone got it yet?

most strange - if you do a search on the music dvd - it comes back with 15.99, but if you do a search on the cd, it comes back with 9.99...I'm checking to see if they're the same!

Got it this morning,£9.99 from play.

The packaging is slightly different from what i saw in HMW,there is no outer cardboard sleeve, but in all other respects it seems the same.
I think on the SE edition you also get extra's on the cdrom,ie a duet with Noel Gallagher plus a few other bits.
However on the 9.99 srandard version you get everything else.

1.Live CD + cdrom
2.DVD footage
3.Documentary

Paul....when you put in the DVd it gives you the choice of 5.1,DTS or stereo.
And yes it includes the documentary.

I've had it for a few days and have found the picture decent (anamorphic 16:9) but the sound very good (DD much louder than DTS, but not as detailed). Paulr whats this about the Noelly G duet. WHERE IS IT, I gather its the cover of Live Forever performed @ the fair trade gig in London???

Regards,

BTW, I've got the SE and must say the £17.99 price tag was worth it for the case alone!!!

This question will probably annoy Coldplay fans, but it's not intended to , it's a genuine question/statment.
When I first heard "Yellow" I thought it was absolutely brilliant and I also liked the next single they released. I got the album, but was quickly fed up with the singers' annoying habit of singing along normally and then going up about 6 octaves for the odd word in every other line. Does he still do this on the 2nd album ? If not I will probably buy it

Maybe it was only a limited edition, but on the day of its release i definately saw a version that had the Noel/Chris duet on it in HMV.
Personally i didnt think it was worth the extra cash.
