My two fav albums are, Rage Against The Machine and Battle Of Los Angeles. I'm not really keen on much else though tbh, apart from the odd tracks here and there. I know one of their later albums RAGE was released with contention as well.
that's weird, found these guys lurking around on my ipod yesterday so cranked it up
great band, dont seem to hear much about /from them these days tho, maybe i'm just not looking hard enough

They've now split up, sadly
Although they did reunite in 2007 for a series of concerts and festivals.
Personally i think they are a fantastic band, and look awesome live.

A true classic. I have the first album on CD and Vinyl.
If you like that album and you fancy a similar fusion then you should try Bad Brains - I against I. Instead of Rap Metal it is Reggae Metal and comes with all the angst and fury of RATM with the more subtle sound of Reggae.
Saw RATM at a festival years ago and although they had no audience rapport they were so powerful live ....glad I wasn't up the front as it looked wild!!
Albums 1 + 3 are my favs, but the others are also worth it! Great band and one of a kind really!
Well at least RatM are in the headlines again so hopefully making a new generation aware of their great music and maybe, just maybe, they can be this year Christmas No.1
Fed up of Simon Cowell's latest karaoke act being Christmas No.1?
Me too... So who's up for a mass-purchase of the track 'KILLING IN THE NAME' from December 13th (DON'T BUY IT YET!) as a protest to the X-Factor monotony?
AGAIN DON'T BUY IT YET!
NO, REALLY DON'T BUY IT YET. IT WON'T COUNT!

Living Colour- Everything is possible (an impossible blend of every type of music and metal-incredibly talented mash up)
Faith No more-Angel Dust (Mike Patton is all you need to know-total innovation).
I used to be a big fan of Faith No More and Living Colour back in my teens. Had no idea that Living Colour released a new album and did some UK tour dates earlier this month, as would've been well up for that having finally got to see their contemporaries Alice in Chains live for the first time a couple of weeks ago
Might be of interest to anyone thinking of joining the RatM Christmas campaign from 13th:
