Question Selectcheaper.com

Hi all,

Wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but since it's related to a music purchase, I hope this forum is OK.

Has anybody used SelectCheaper.com - Cheaper Prices on Buying DVDs, Games, Books and Audio CDS online Cheaper with Free Delivery They are coming up cheapest for some albums I'm after and I've never used them before, in fact I've never heard of them.

Any feedback, good or bad please?

Cheers.

Re: Selectcheaper.com

they are one of the worst online retailers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with
- take your money straight away
- very likely to be out of stock despite stating the contrary
- weeks to deliver or eventually cancel

just do a forum-wide post (not thread) search on selectcheaper and you'll see many post about these cowboys

Btw, I price check music at this site: www.find-cd.co.uk
- but then usually go through Quidco to my chosen retailer

Re: Selectcheaper.com

Thanks.

I use the find-cd and find-dvd sites as well, which is where I found out about selectcheaper. The savings are not huge over my normal retailers, so I think I'll avoid them.

Re: Selectcheaper.com

bangcd.com just used them for first time. Reasonable delivery times. Not a huge selection tho. Use HMV Amazon and Play mainly. Used CD Wow in the past but the prices have risen.

Re: Selectcheaper.com

I can add to this to say that my order that was 'in stock' has been 10 days "processing" and I cannot get hold of SelectCheaper to speak to them (answerphone message service).
