Just to let you closet Hawkwind fans know that this classic album is being re-released. I've been waiting for this for ages - I even nearly went the ebay route but being a skin flint didn't want to part with £40+ for the privelidge of owning this cd (I have a vinyl copy).

Has yours turned up yet? My order is showing it as 'unavailable' now, which is a little frustrating.

Mine says "awaiting Stock".
Trying not to get too frustrated. I've been waiting years for this so only a couple of weeks more hopefully. If I've not heard anything then I'll probably ask when they anticipate getting stock.

Mines still listed as "awaiting stock" too but I can't find any other retailer that's even got it listed so I wouldn't be surprised if it just vapourises into the mists of time....

I've had that happen with a few re-releases: a Pentangle album disappeared most recently.

Hopefully this is an actual release, rather than 'ooh, I've found a picture of an old album'.

Grrrr! Why does this sort of thing happen? Why on earth do albums appear on these sites, that aren't actually available?

I find it really frustrating. Do you reckon they do it to see if there's enough interest for a production run??

I just found this on Kazaa, and it really is an amazing album. I'll definitely reorder it if it is ever released.

By the way, Play have a few Hawkwind albums in their '2 for £11.99' offer. I've just ordered 'In Search of Space' and 'Doremi Fasol Latido'.
