Mad Max 2 Road Warrior ANYONE ?

Hi

Can anyone confirm weather the HD DVD or BLU RAY releases of this are the uncut international version and would be kind enough to check 2 scenes for me.
First is a shot of Wez pulling the arrow from his arm and the second is a shot of the ferel kid with his bomerang embedding in someones head ?

Cheers

The US HD-DVD has both scenes in all there glory detail. I can't comment on the UK HD-DVD or the UK blu-ray (although I do have the UK blu-ray and will check to confirm over the weekend).

Re: Mad Max 2 Road Warrior ANYONE ?

So it should be. It was shown uncut (as far as I could tell, certainly had the two scenes the op mentions) on terestrial tv the other night.

Any sign of the first Mad Max movie on HD-DVD or Blu-ray anytime soon?

MAD MAX 3 or bust! Tina Turner in HD, plus it's the 2nd best of the trilogy after 2

Re: Mad Max 2 Road Warrior ANYONE ?

Mad Max 2 is a stunning disc, for a movie made on a budget on £1.50. Sure it's got grain galore in the night scenes, but it's still gorgeous.

Re: Mad Max 2 Road Warrior ANYONE ?

Have yet to see a car chase/stunt sequence to match those in Mad Max 2, and that's without any CGI!

Whilst the HD PQ is excellent the 5.1 remix is still pretty poor, which IMO just makes it more 'unspoilt' and 'natural'.
