How to download?

Not being a complete idiot but is there an idiots guide to downloading I signed in to a movie site but it asks me to dowmload ther software to be able to view. I have vista home premium so do I need any more software?

That's pretty standard mate. Vista is just operating software, you regularly require further specialised software especially when downloading (opposed to streaming) video files.

The Company you have signed may use particular compression software or file formats etc...Not compatible with software native to Vista Premium.

What is the name of the site you have signed with?

I sometimes use MP3sale and bolted on to this is a site called movieberry. Its probably crap so any recommendations appreciated

Had a quick look at the site while at work, it clearly states no extra software needed...But, based on your original query, I assume they mean no 3rd party software needed, i.e. This site will supply you with all software that you need to download and view their files.

1)I'll take a look tonight but do you remember what software it asks you to install?

I'm fairly certain that this is all fine (It's rarely a case of "click and play" ) but it's worth a quick check, just in case.
