Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
All I will say is that the last episode is one of the best episodes on any show.

Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
This is the only show I have never watched on TV but waited and bought every series on dvd.
Back in the day when I told my other half she just had to watch "a brilliant cop show" she just laughed until she saw episode 1 series 1.
Then every year it's been "when is the new series of The Shield coming out"?

Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
I was a late Shield viewer and managed to watch seasons 1-5 in three weeks.
Its highly addictive stuff.
Anyway your in for a treat with the last season. Everything is wrapped up and its kinda sad to see it all end.

Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
Great news. My satellite box failed me half way through the Channel 5 transmition. Shame this is the last series, I thought this was the most gripping TV series of the decade.

Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
I'm on watching the last series at the moment, I only started watching the shield a couple of months ago and I'm on season 7. As has been said it's very addictive TV, I think I'll be a bit gutted when it ends.
Then again I've just started watching The Wire and Son's of Anarchy..The Wire is excellent, don't know why I didn't start watching it earlier

Re: Not long now for The Shield 7 on dvd
I have heard about the Wire, must check it out
Any difference between Region 1 and Region 2 releases?
If I'm catching up is it wise to get complete box set of series so far or get them a series at a time?
