Jean-Pierre Jeunet

Hi folks. I was wondering if anyone has any info on whether any of Jeunet's films will ever be released on Blu-Ray. He's my favourite director/writer and I think his films would translate beautifully to HD. Amelie in particular should look stunning if mastered carefully but really all his works should benefit. I can't find any info on possible Blu-Ray conversions except for one extremely dodgy master on Amazon.ca. 'm hoping osmeone here might have a clue.

Re: Jean-Pierre Jeunet

"Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" was planned for a 29 October 2008 release in France, but has been delayed as far as I know.

Re: Jean-Pierre Jeunet

Amelie is available in Canada not sure of it's region status though.

Amelie [Blu-ray]: Amazon.ca: DVD

I love this film and can't wait for it to be released over here.

Re: Jean-Pierre Jeunet

I like 'Amelie' very much and would buy it on Blu, but bring on 'The City of Lost Children' & 'Delicatessen' first please.

Unfortunately, I think the first Jeunet film we'll see on Blu may be 'Alien Resurrection' in the Alien Quad Blu ray set that's supposedly coming by the end of the year!
