Thanks: Gave 40, Got 25 | Friday 13th boxset
Hi all,
Is the UK release of the first 8 Friday 13th boxset the same as the US release? Are the movies uncut, are all the same extras available and are they still all on four discs i.e 2 films per disc. Also does anybody know when these movies are planned for release on Blu ray.

G | The boxset is not the same version as in the US. It contains 8 movies on 8 discs but no bonus disc. Only part 1 is uncut.

Parts 2 & 3 out next week on BD. Think Pt 1 is already out.

Can I ask what cuts there are? Are they the same versions previously released on DVD?

The US copy of Friday the 13th is reviewed on this site,Paramount release so probably region free. Parts 2 & 3 I found here:- Friday The 13th Part III [Special Collectors Edition] Blu-ray - Sendit.com

Cuts maybe important but a warning regarding the new unrated Blu_Ray release,the film has been cropped badly by about 10%-112%. 
It seems some company's can not get it right.  | |
