Re: friends - complete boxset dvd

first few can be a bit grainy as does every tv show of that era. later ones much cleaner.

Doubt this will appear on hi=def anytime soon.

I bought it 2 years ago at £100 and thought I was doing good!

Doubt they will appear in HD quality. They were edited on video like the later Trek series were. They will probaly never appear better than upscaled SD.

I paid up to £40 per season for most of the seasons.

From season 6 is where the quality was much better but they used more discs. They did 4 TV episodes and the same 4 episodes as extended on each side when the early seasons were 8 episodes per disc.

Re: friends - complete boxset dvd

I was thinking of getting this box set now its only £50 - but Im not gonna touch it if its flippers - worst thing ever to come from DVD, as they never make it clear which side is which (one side could be black in the centre, or have the "standard" label on with the pits/tracks written into the label)

Small writing on the inner circle, the A or the B is usually in red font.
