Hi guys.
Just wondered if someone could help me on this one...
I bought my girlfriend this dvd for Christmas from Asda not long after the release, and since she's French (although can speak perfect English

), I wanted to check whether it had any French on it. Had a look on the back, English Audio, but has English (Hearing Impaired), English, Danish, Dutch, French, Finnish, Norweigan and Swedish Subtitles according to the reverse of both the DVD case and the cardboard sleeve which covers it. "Great" I think. Will be something which the in-laws can watch when they come over at Christmas who can't speak a word of English.
So, we stick it in to the DVD player tonight to watch it, go to the sub-titles menu, and in there it says nothing about French... Weird, ok, will go through, start watching the film, and select it from the sub-titles option on the remote. Go through all the options, and no French!
Now I am totally not happy with this mis-representation. How come, on the NTSC dvd they get English, Spanish and French Audio, and I guess all those sub-titles plus more. Yet on the R2 dvd, we get nothing apart from English Audio, and then we don't even get the sub-titles which it states we're supposed to on the box! Why do we even get all of the Nordic sub-titles?! Sorry, but I'd have thought that in the UK we're more likely to have had a larger community of French, Spanish, Italian, German etc speakers than Nordic speakers?! I may be wrong, but I remember DVDs for quite a while ages ago always used to have these more generally central Europe languages rather than the nordic langauges...
Does anyone know of who/were I could contact for a complaint to this? As I don't think it would be generally accepted to buy a dvd and not get the correct thiings advertised on it. Could you imagine buying the snow white dvd and then getting, as a special bonus, the old xxx snow white movie instead of the making of bonus? I know some of you would prefer that

But it's not really going to go down to well when the kids decide to watch it is it!!!
Look forward to some information on this...
Many thanks in advance
