universal blurays

i am having problems playing universal blurays on my sammy 1400.
they load to the menu and freeze. is it the firmware? i am on early version.
hellboy2 and mamma mia both refused to play. any advice appreciated guys

Hellboy 2 and Wanted both played on mine no problems so I would update the firmware.
