Out Of Sight HD DVD

Picked this up from HMV on the cheap. I had not watched it for a few years at least but remembered really enjoying it at the flicks back in 1998. Clooney is on top form and Jenifer Lopez, well, this is pre J-Lo, pre popstar Diva and she is excellent also.
In terms of PQ this is easily one of the best transfers I have ever seen - it really does look the business, and not just because it is a decade old, this holds it's own against any recent title I own.

Great movie, great PQ and if it's still on HMV or the Hut etc - you owe it to your player to pick it up!!

Re: Out Of Sight HD DVD

One of my favourites. I can't believe this movie is 10 years old!

Jack Foley: It's like seeing someone for the first time, and you look at each
other for a few seconds, and there's this kind of recognition like you both
know something. Next moment the person's gone, and it's too late to do
anything about it.

Karen Sisco: Oh, that's right, you have my wallet. Why don't you come by the
house, you can drop it off?
Jack Foley: Sure, I'll leave it with the S.W.A.T. guy who answers the door.

Re: Out Of Sight HD DVD

So need to buy this great film again! I recently spun the old SD copy on the other day and shock horror to the dated transfer I actually thought was great all those years ago! Non-anamorphic, grainy, over blown colours and bleed, that soft fuzzyness that reminded me of those aged VHS copies, how times have changed.
Definitely worth the double dip fo rthe improvement!

'Night and Day' would be an appropriate metaphor!
