Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

Hi,

Just received my Batman Begins Giftset from Dvdworld and i'm sure it was supposed to come with a memory stick with 18 images from The Dark Knight

Mine doesn't have this in the set. Although it does look like there is a space for it at the top of the pack as there is a small piece of folded cardboard with enough space for one.
Noticed it isn't actually listed on the features list on the back of the set.

Can anyone let me know if they have one included in their giftset please.

Cheers

Re: Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

Nobody got it with the Blu-Ray set it was exclusive to the DVD gift set and many retailers had the wrong information on their listings.

Yep and I'm a bit miffed about that in all honesty! I could've saved myself £5 and ordered the UK LE from Play.com and got the stick from there as they're offering it as an exclusive! I decided to keep my order with MT as it was still advertised with coming with the flash drive

Re: Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

Its just another example of Warners quality control. This is the studio that last year messed up two of their biggest blu-ray releases with the Harry Potter set that had HD-DVDs and the Blade Runner set that had two copies of the final cut in it and no workprint.

I emailed MT about it this morning and got a reply from Janine pretty quickly. I did say I wasn't too happy about and didn't want the hassle of sending it back and in turn I wouldn't mind a money off voucher as I am already eyeing up another 3 purchases from them..... haven't received a reply yet

Its not Movietyme's fault though is it as the information provided by Warner was wrong.

Re: Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

True but it wouldn't have hurt MT to create an email to send to the people who bought the set informing them of this and asking the customers if they still wanted to keep their orders

Re: Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

I doubt they knew until they had sent them out to customers. In fact looking at their blog they have only tested one today for region coding.

It just seems strange that MT are getting stick when it should be directed at Warner.

Stick? Get it? Anyone?

Re: Batman Begins Giftset USB Stick Missing

I bought mine from DVD World and got a reply today stating they always thought the Blu Ray version had the stick aswell, so it does look like Warner messed up. and all sites are in the same boat

MT have now issued a note on their blog about it as Shand754 said.
