Where is Resident Evil on BD?

I know I could easily order Resident Evil on a region free BD from the U.S. or off ebay. I was just wondering, however, if anyone knew why the original movie is not available for sale in the UK while it's sequels are?

Re: Where is Resident Evil on BD?

Probably to do with the fact it's distributed by Pathe and not Sony Pictures.

Here you go then. It's region free so no problem buying this from the USA.

Thanks for the explanation. It was just something that I had been wondering about.

I know it's available on import from the States. I think it should be available here too though. I may get round to purchasing it on import at some point though.
