300 on Blu ray Any one else see a flicker on some scenes?

Hi, I read all about the nature in which 300 was filmed and it's intentionally grainy look which is fine by me, but While watching 300 on Blu Ray for the first time tonight, in some scenes notibally near the end where the queen address the council and Leonidas is making his final stand off against Xerxes, there is this pulsating flicker thats very annoying, it's tends to be in the bright scenes more than the dark scenes.

Is this my disc or equipment or have others spotted this?

My equipment is a UK Sony PS3
Sony 40w2000 (no 24fps support)
and a U.S. 300 Blu Ray Disc
