Hd DVD Problem - I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry

just had the HD DVD delivery this morning and it will not work, although all others i own do no problems.
i am using the Xbox 360 HD Drive attachment and it is all updated.

sometimes the movie will just run a black screen nothing else, not even the expected adverts and warning. i have a few times got up to a loading screen with a bar that seems not to move.

any ideas on what to do try before i contact HMV for a new copy as i don't fancy going through the rigmarole of returning etc.

I've had a problem with this title only today also, I've disabled internet access and it worked.

Me thinks the server for hd-dvd web content must be down???

I'm having a similar problem - seems to be trying to download a cookie.

Tried changing setting to refuse cookies and disable net access in the hd dvd network settings but disk starts to play, screen goes black then goes straight back to dashboard.

not just me then. i have it working for now. was still a very long load up on a black screen then another long stint on the "loading" bar.

not sure if it helped but i deleted all data off my internal hard drive on the Xbox 360 hd drive.
was then prompted ( after about 7-10 Min's loading) to either access or allow cookies. unsure which it was as i was amassed it was working and just clicked in the rush to get it playing.

good luck to everyone else and i am sure i will be back as it will bound to happen again.
