Pirates, At Worlds End - Audio.

Hi,

Was playing about with the disc options yesterday.

I noticed there's 2 dolby 5.1 tracks. 5.1 & uncompressed.

Which one will give me the best sound??

Re: Pirates, At Worlds End - Audio.

If you have a compatible receiver then go for Uncompressed, it's basically the same as Dolby True HD.

If not, then you'll have to use the normal Dolby Digital 5.1 track.

According to the Specs on my copies of ' Black Peal ' and ' Dead Mans Chest ' English 5.1 uncompressed on the main film and a mish mash of other audio formats for the added features.

They do say " HD PICTURE/HD SOUND " on the front of the both of the Blue Rays slip sleeves but they clearly don't mean REAL HD sound for the entire content of the movie package ... though they do give you French and Spanish as options in 'ordinary Dolby Digital 5.1 which can be Fun to play with.
