HEROES - Blu-ray

Not sure if this should be in the HD movies section, but...

Heroes is now listed on Universal's website:

SERIES 1

Ships 26th August - $79.98

SERIES 2

Ships 26th August - $49.98

Yes, I bought one!

However it's good to know that subsequent seasons can still be enjoyed in high definition.

Unlike Paramount and Star Trek.......

The 7-disc HD DVD box set of season one is £12.99 on HMV's website at the moment and it's showing as in stock:

Re: HEROES - Blu-ray

Doesn't it sound insane to invest on a dead format ?
But at 12,99 it's a steal.

Re: HEROES - Blu-ray

Season 1 on HD-DVD was a great release!

I've also been avoiding the second series on TV and the BR will be a definate purchase.. Although AFAIK, it's not as long due to the writers strike screwing up production.. But should still be pretty amazing.

I'm waiting for the dvd of season 2 aswell it's meant to be out july on SD here, Blu-ray will be the month after in the US going by the link above.

Wonder if it will be region free? but not sure i can wait so will probably just get the SD one that i have on order from play.

Hope it's region free and cheaper than season 1 if it's got fewer episodes

If it's as good as season one it's worth the wait for the BR IMO..
