Is there any difference between the Region A and B version?
I noticed the Region B version is pretty cheap, but is it the same as this? http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/1282/runlolarun.html |

I watched this during the holidays and loved it - though Me Julie was slightly less impressed, referring to it as being "...like Groundhog Day on speed".
One thing we both noticed was a small problem in our new cinema set up. We're both much nearer to the screen than we used to be, and the new screen is bigger. This has resulted in it being quite difficult to take in the subtitles and picture at the same time - if you concentrate on reading the subtitles you miss a lot of the action.
A decent looking and excellent sounding Blu-ray Disc, and a great film, of course.

No differences between the U.K and U.S version except for the Cover Art though both sucks. The yellow tint and overblown contrast applied on the main feature is slightly distracting. Otherwise very good PQ.

Just watched the region b version and thought the picture quality was outstanding in the outside scenes, but quite often lost it on the inside scenes don't remember it being this bad on the dvd version...will have to dig it out and check.
Still love the film though, absolute classic!

No idea if there's any difference between the two versions. I would doubt and it is a superb film. Some of the filming styles do not make it the greatest HD presentation ever but it shows it at it's best.
Buy it now.

Just dug out the dvd version...stopped it at the same bit about 18 mins in the office when her father is talking to his girlfriend.
DVD version, quite grainy film
Blu-ray version again grainy but I can actually see square grids all over the picture, almost like the HD is showing up how bad the original really is!
Not sure if anyone else gets the same?
The contrast really does suck!
Still great film and probably as good as it gets, I seem to remember it didn't have a particularly big budget.

I don't know what the budget was but you can tell it was low. It's still one of my all time great films.
All the best
