Is Eastern Promises UK blu ray region locked?

Probably a day or two early to ask but as per title.I want to buy this blu ray but only if it will play on my US player,I'd be grateful if someone could test it for me.Thanks

I had a feeling it probably would be being hd dvd exclusive in the US.I'll just have to wait until Universal release it on blu ray in the states.

I checked the output from my Samsumg BDP1400 to the JVC HD1 Projector and its certainly 1080P at 24hz and there is a DTS HD track.
