Into The Wild (HD DVD)

Now processing with Movietyme

What am I doing still buying HD DVDs!? People might start to get the impression that I think content is more important than format

Re: Into The Wild (HD DVD)

this is one film I havent really minded paying £16 for. It's a stunning film anyway and the chance to see that in glorious hd has made me purchase it now.

Can't wait to get it

Loved this film, plus the soundtrack is great. Would love some Vedder solo shows over here!

I've got mine on order from Amazon UK.

I will be buying HD DVD's for as long as they keep making them

Re: Into The Wild (HD DVD)

Noticed that Movietyme have it on their UK1-2 delivery, so ordered it. Thought best get it whilst I can seeing as they've cancelled the rest of the Paramount slate.

Re: Into The Wild (HD DVD)

Watched this last night on HD DVD from lovefilm, absolutely loved it. The PQ was excellent as was the audio. Although I had a few issues with the central character and the lack of questions the film raised to challenge him, I was completely captivated by both the cinematography and the performance of Emile Hirsch who is fast becoming one of the most talented young actors in Hollywood.
Excellent stuff.

Re: Into The Wild (HD DVD)

Does anyone know if this is currently available on Blu-ray in the UK in HMV or Zavvi? I want to go and pick up a copy later, but I don't have access to their websites at work.

It's not on Blu-Ray full stop. Don't think Paramount have said anything about a release yet.
