Smile Toshiba Makes It Official - Rip Hd Dvd

Well it's been made official the format war is over. Toshiba gave a press conference in Tokyo Just hours ago stating that they where no longer going to continue manufacturing HD-DVD players. here's a link to the press release.

Whether it was meant as spin or not, the press statement is correct that the customers just lost out.

Especially those of us who like to import foreign films, we have just be stuffed good and proper

RIP region-free, sony are here for good which means region-free is gone for good
