Run Fat Boy, Run. Entertainment In Video. Blu Ray Specs?

I have searched high and low on the Internet but can find any answers.
Run fat boy run is released this Monday on Blu Ray, but does anybody know what specs it has?

EIV has already announced the extra features;
* Deleted / Alternate Scenes
* Outtakes
* Trailers
* Audio Commentaries
* Goof

But i cant seem to find for example 1080p MPEG 4 encode or just 1080i MPEG 2.
Or any HD sound formats. Are those extras HD?

If EIV have gone with this dvd on their own, just snatching a few SD extras from the DVD release, and bearing in mind it hasnt had a major HD release in the US as of yet. I am full expecting 1080i, SD Extras with 384kbs Dolby 5.1.

Re: Run Fat Boy, Run. Entertainment In Video. Blu Ray Specs?

My copy turned up this morning. Haven't put it in the player yet to find out the video codec, but the box says that it has a 7.1 DTS HD and 2.0 Dolby Digital audio tracks.
From a posting elsewhere I believe that its coded for Region B only, but can confirm later if anyone is interested.

EIV titles are strictly region coded, I'm afraid.

Re: Run Fat Boy, Run. Entertainment In Video. Blu Ray Specs?

Just tested it and can confirm the title is coded for Region B only. Won't work on my US player, but runs happily on my UK one. It has a DTS HD MA 7.1 track and is VC-1 encoded. It has some rather high bitrates from the quick scan through that I did.

I was very tempted to buy this today, how does it compare to Hot Fuss which I thought it was hilarious?

Oh bugger. I have a copy of this en-route from SendIt (will probably turn up today) for my wife.

Problem is my PS3 is Region A (JPN).

Times like this I wish HD DVD had won the war

I knew I was taking a chance when I ordered it.

I really enjoyed it - much better than the poor critical reviews had indicated and I can now see why it "over-performed" at the box office, presumably through word of mouth. It's a bit predictable and safe in places but there are some genuine LOL moments.

That being said I DIDN'T find "Hot Fuzz" hilarious - quite the opposite. The most self-indulgent, unfunny 'comedy' I've seen in a long time. So your mileage on "Run Fat Boy Run" will obviously vary!
