Which Bourne?

Hi all,

I want to get the Bourne films on HD DVD, but not sure whether to go for UK ro US release.

I kow HD DVD is multi region, but are there any difference in any of the 3 movies? Is the sound/picture quailty better on the UK or US versions?

Please help????

Re: Which Bourne?

Bourne 3 is TrueHD on US Combo version and DD+ on the UK version.

Doesnt spring to mind what the others are, sure someone else will know.

Re: Which Bourne?

Bourne Identity : U.K version because it has 1 extended scene.
Bourne Supremacy : Any version would do.
Bourne Ultimatum : Touch choice. I have the U.S COMBO version that happens to work on my player properly. YMMV with COMBO. The U.S version has Dolby True HD track which is slightly better than the DD+ track.

Note:

Also keep in mind that the non U.S versions displays language selection menu and then the annoying copyright message than runs for a minimum of 30 seconds. If you can put up with this irritating stuff then you can very well buy the U.K version.
